We publish letters to the editor here, and in the printed Mercury.

The Mercury welcomes letters from readers on all topics, especially
local issues, and publishes almost all of them. Shorter is generally
better. Writers, even those who email their letters to us, must include
a phone number for verification, as well as their names and postal
addresses for publication. All letters are subject to confirmation and
to editing for libel, pesonal attacks and length.

If you'd like to participate in an online message board instead, you can do that elsewhere on the site. You can also join discussions about individual news stories at the end of those stories.
