Arthur Brown transferring to K-State
Arthur Brown, a former five-star linebacker and one of the top players in the nation in 2008, is transferring to Kansas State after seeing the field minimally in the past two seasons at Miami, according to his father in a release to hovpensports.com.
Early last week, it was confirmed to The Mercury that Brown had left the Miami program and had enrolled at Butler Community College, where he was taking intermediary classes. Multiple sources indicated they were under the belief that Brown coming to K-State was a done deal. And according to his father, it now is.
"I would like to acknowledge that Arthur Brown Jr. will continue his education at Kansas St. University," said Arthur Brown Sr. in a statement to hovpensports.com. "We are very happy and elated to have Arthur Jr. back at home, and we appreciate the overwhelming support and kind words we've received from the entire state of Kansas, our community, friends and immediate family.
