Lehning to miss playoffs with shoulder injury
Staff reports

The Atlanta Dream entered the playoffs against defending WNBA champion Detroit Wednesday night without starting point guard Shalee Lehning.

The former Kansas State guard separated her left shoulder in the final regularseason game against Washington and is out for the remainder of the season. She underwent successful surgery on the shoulder earlier this week. The 5-foot-9 guard started 20 of 34 games for the Dream and finished her rookie season averaging 3.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.

Meanwhile, Phoenix Mercury forward and former KState great Nicole Ohlde will begin her team's playoff run tonight at San Antonio.

Ohlde has averaged 5.2 points and 2.80 rebounds per game on the season after being acquired in a trade from the Minnesota Lynx on Jan. 30 of this year.
