Freeman leads Bucs over Seahawks, 26-7

Josh Freeman led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 26-7 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday when he completed 16-of-26 passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns.

The rookie quarterback  also threw one interception, this ninth pick in the last three games.

Riley County product Jordy Nelson had a good day as well with four receptions for 71 yards, although on the losing end to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 37-36.

Nelson also had four  kick returns for 85 yards and two punt returns for 25 yards.

Darren Sproles was somewhat quiet in the San Diego Chargers' 27-24 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, rushing for 11 yards on three carries, while catching three passes for 22 yards.

Sproles did return to kicks for 73 yards — including one for 45 yards.

Ben Leber had four tackles for the Minnesota Vikings in a 26-7 loss to the Carolina Panthers and cornerback Terence Newman had three tackles in the Dallas Cowboys' 24-17 win over the New Orleans Saints on Saturday night.

Linebacker Zac Diles had four tackles for Houston in the Texans' 16-13 win over the St. Louis Rams.

Safety Jon McGraw did not play in the Chiefs' 41-34 los to the Browns due to an injury.

Washington Redskins running back Rock Cartwright will play tonight against the New York Giants.
