Former RCHS standout ready for first season at the University of Oklahoma

Something had to change.

More than 17 hours from home and unhappy with her current surroundings, Annie Martin sought a change of scenery, a decision she didn't take lightly.

The former Riley County High standout wanted to be on her own, independent, living away from friends and family and blazing past other women on the track — something the Georgia Tech track and field program offered, at the time.
