Former Pottawatomie County commissioner Stan Hartwich lost his 3rd District seat to challenger Gerald F. Greene in the primary elections. But Hartwich, who pushed a write-in campaign, may have surged past Greene to narrowly reclaim his seat. Of 3,051 votes, Greene tallied 1,503 and the write-in category tallied 1,548.
