Army's 'Die Hards' get ready to deploy to Iraq

FORT RILEY — The 1st Infantry Division's 1st Engineering Battalion "Die Hards" formally cased its colors Wednesday morning during a deployment ceremony at King Field House. The approximately 400-soldier unit, part of the 1st Heavy Brigade Combat Team's 555th Engineer Brigade and the Army's most-decorated engineering battalion, is getting ready to deploy on a 12-month tour in Iraq.
