Pulitzer play, live music for your sweetie
Still unsure what to do with your Valentine tonight?

The perfect date might include the emotional roller coaster of K-State Theatre's "The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds" by Paul Zindel, 7:30 tonight. The play runs through Feb. 16.

Or jam to Lucia Drive, fronted by Lauren Rohrer, at 8 p.m. at PJ's Pub.

Continue the romance through the weekend. The Manhattan Arts Center presents Valentine's Cabaret at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for military and $12 for students.

  Kansas Reads "In Cold Blood" program, 2-4 p.m. Author Ande Parks of "Capote in Kansas" will speak. Parks is a Kansas writer and illustrator, author of the graphic novel "Capote in Kansas." This book details the time Truman Capote spent in Kansas while he worked on his  book "In Cold Blood." Parks will talk about writing and illustrating, graphic novels, and anything about Capote's famous novel and the crimes it documents. 2nd Floor Manhattan Public Library
