How to get set up for Easy Pay, so you can get free electronic access

Here's a deal:

Sign up for a payment system that eliminates the hassle of paying bills, saves you time, and saves you money on postage. AND, for doing that, we'll give you free access to the electronic edition of The Mercury. That gives you access to the entire Mercury, online, updated early, with access to a week's back issues.

Here's what you do:

1. Download, print and fill out a form (available by clicking here). It will authorize the Mercury to automatically withdraw from your checking account the amount of your subscription. It's the same way most of you pay your water bill, cable bill, mortgage, and so on. (Need help with the form? Call 785-776-8808, or e-mail circulation@themercury.com)

2. Include a voided check or deposit slip. Also include the address where you want the paper to be delivered, your phone number and e-mail address.

3. Mail it in to:

Bonnie Raglin
Circulation Director
The Manhattan Mercury
P.O. Box 787
Manhattan, KS 66505

Or fax it to 785-776-8807. Or bring it by during business hours to our building at the corner of 5th and Osage streets, next to the post office.

4. We'll get you all set up! Your delivery will start within a day or so, as will your access to the full electronic edition.

Good for you. Thanks!

Oh, right: Prices. You probably want to know that.

Here are our current rates:

*1 year: $144.54
6 months: $74.00
3 months: $37.83
1 month: $12.89

You're choosing how often you want your subscription payment to be withdrawn. You get a price break for going longer, as you can tell. In any event, the withdrawals will continue at our prevailing rate until you tell us you want to stop. No hassle.
