Well, I'm finally doing it. I'm finally writing a Blog. I've been trying to make myself get involved in the infamous blogosphere for a while now, but didn't know where to get started. Now that I'm working for the Mercury I feel like I have an excuse to start one.

First and foremost I need to introduce myself. My name is Matt Draznik, and I am an Advertising Account Executive for the Manhattan Mercury. I graduated from K-State in December 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in advertising and a minor in Spanish. I worked for the Collegian for nearly two years as an Ad Sales Rep, and I really enjoyed the mix of business and creativity that the job entails. Luckily I've had the opportunity to continue working in the same field on a more professional level here at the Mercury.

I try not to talk about things I don't know about, so I'll pretty much be sticking to advertising on my blog. I'll share some of my favorite campaigns, some of my least favorite campaigns and discuss current trends in advertising. Feel free let me know about anything you like/dislike in today's wide world of advertising.
