If you're on Facebook you immediately knew what this post was about as soon as you saw the headline.

There's a note making the rounds on Facebook that asks the recipient to post a list of 25 random things about themselves. And since I am hopelessly addicted to Facebook, I had to participate.

I spill my guts online to you on a regular basis, so it was hard to think of 25 things everyone doesn't already know about me. But here they are:

1. I'm afraid of heights.

2. My mom and my oldest sister were pregnant at the same time.

3. I want my own reality show, where Mark, the kids and I travel the world in a motor home.

4. My dad was a car salesman for 35 years.

5. I've been in two fairly serious car crashes, both on bridges. Three cars totalled, no one injured.

6. I never thought Mark would stay in the Army this long.

7. I had a miscarriage in 1992. My first child was born nine years later.

8. My feet always hurt.

9. I had three extra permanent teeth.

10. I love to eat by myself, at home or in a restaurant.

11. I always buy Southern Living magazine but never read it.

12. I wonder: If I died today, would my kids remember me?

13. I once sold almost all my clothes at the flea market so I could buy a pair of purple Calvin Klein jeans.

14. One of my Facebook friends (who shall remain anonymous unless she chooses to reveal herself) and I used to put vodka in Bonnie Bell roll-on lip gloss containers.

15. I'm a horrible liar.

16. The first time I was ever paid more than $100 to write was in ninth grade when an essay I authored about my parent's flea market jewelry business appeared in New Woman magazine.

17. I can't sleep. Ever.

18. My all-time favorite beer is Victoria Bitter from Australia.

19. I used to have a recurring nightmare where Mr. Peanut chased me around the neighborhood.

20. I don't want my kids to spend their entire childhood as military brats.

21. Rush is my all-time favorite band.

22. I never repeat a secret.

23. I read the last chapter of a book first.

24. I once saw Loretta Lynn in concert.

25. In high school I was runner-up for homecoming queen, a science fair champion and a chronic truant. All at the same time.

You forgot about your imaginary friends that lived behind our couch!

hahahahahaha!!!! Missy, I do have some pride you know - I'm not going to spill ALL my secrets!

You are right, I did recognize the headline and had to laugh!!! I remember Bonnie Bell roll on lip gloss, but it never occured to me to refill them ROFL!!! Oh great now you've got me thinking I need to find one!!!! We have baseball practice tonight, and the merlot colored "gatorade".

FoxInSocks - I'm still wondering when the Little League powers that be will get smart and realize how much money they could rake in selling alcohol at the concession stand. Especially if it was in discreet packaging!

I too immediately recognized the title! LOL. Never thought of the vodka in the lip gloss, to be honest, it seems like way too small of a container!! :-) In college, I would take one of those big gulp cups and fill with rum and coke for class. I don't see why that wouldn't work for the little league field! LOL.

Theresa M. - I won't admit how young we were when we did the lip gloss thing. I'll just say we need much alcohol to feel it! And, yes, I have done the Big Gulp cup filled with something else more than once. Moms gotta do what moms gotta do, right?

Love the post! I don't do Facebook or any of those online things, but I'd heard about the 25 random things. Have to admit it seemed like a goofy waste of time to me, but after reading your list (very interesting, by the way) I can really see why people get into it. Also, I'm going to root through my little angels purse tonight and make sure her lip gloss is rated G!

Jan, you consistantly amaze us (vodka in roll on lip gloss?!?) and you are a bad influence on us. No wonder we think the world of you! ; )
