Bill Snyder's final thank you

"Thank you. Thank you. We've got to keep meeting like this, I like this.

This has been the hardest week, almost, of my life. This was a very hard decision to make. I like to think I made it for the right reasons, but as I look out here today, I realize how really difficut this is going to be.

They're going to name this stadium, the Bill Snyder Family Stadium, and I hope you understand that you are my family as well. And in the future, everytime you're here, you come to your stadium.

I love you dearly, I'm so grateful to the coaches that have gone through Kansas State University, to the players that have come through our program to the wonderful student body that we have had year in and year out, to the great fans all over this country and those of you who come here week in and week out, it's been a great, great 17 years.

Kansas State University will continue to prosper not only as a great academic institution, but as a great athletic institution as well. Sharon and I and my family, as you known, will remain in Mnahattan, Kansas, this is indeed our home.

And I've got all of family up here and they're all so special to me, as you know. None more special than this young man right here. This is a guy that, every single day, keeps me up, keeps me going, my son Sean, who has been with our program for almost the entire 17 years.
