Colon out with broken hand

Senior forward Luis Colon suffered a fractured left hand in a recent workout and will be out for the next four to six weeks, according to head coach Frank Martin.

"It is unfortunate Luis has had to deal with this injury at the start of his senior season,"
said Martin. "However, the most important thing right now is that he gets healthy and ready to go for the season."

One of three seniors on the Wildcat basketball team, Colon has seen action in 91 games, including 52 starts, in his three-year career, averaging 2.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. As a junior, he was one of two players to start all 34 games in 2008-09, averaging 4.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
