The Kansas State cross country teams ended their 2006 seasons at the Midwest regional championships Saturday at Falcon Heights, Minn.
Leading the men for the second straight race was sophomore Alex Umbarger. He finished 63rd in 32;45.34 over the 10-kilometer course. He also led the team at the conference meet two weeks ago. Colin Swaney finished 68th and Kory Cool 85th.

On the womens side, sophomore Liliani Mendez finished 28th. Lindsay Pierson was 63rd and Morgan Bonds 80th for the Wildcats.
Oklahoma State won the mens regional, while Illinois won the womens race.
