Idaho took over the top spot from UC-Irvine after shooting a 287 (-1), giving the Vandals a two-round score of 583 (+7). Defending champion UC-Irvine shot 290 in the second round giving it a two-round score of 584 (+8). Big 12 rival Kansas sits in eighth place at 603 (+27).
After being tied for first at the conclusion of round one, Christine Wong of San Diego State took over the top spot among the individuals with a 4-under par in the second round, putting her at 7-under par. Wong edged out Baylor's Hannah Burke, who shot 73 (+1).
K-State's Roos shot a season-high 84 in the first round Monday, but got back on track Tuesday with an even-par 72, the lowest 18-hole score of her young career. Her combined score of 155 after two rounds is also a career-best. Roos moved up 31 places from round one and sits in a tie for 53rd place.
Ami Storey is tied for 21st after carding a career-low 2-over par 74 in the second round. Storey's two-round total of 149 is also a career-best.
Senior Abbi Sunner shot a season-low 73 (+1) in the second round, improving four strokes from an opening-round 77. The Iowa native moved up 12 spots from round one and sits in a tie for 27th.
Morgan Moon and Emily Houtz each shot 76 (+4). Moon dropped one shot from the first round, putting her in a tie for 29th. Houtz improved by two shots from the first round, giving her a 36-hole score of 154, a career-low. Houtz sits in a tie for 45th, moving up eight spots from the first round.
The third and final round of the Price's Give'em Five will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. (CT) Wednesday. Results will be posted on www.k-statesports.com as soon as they become available.
