Academic honors for KSU track

The Kansas State track and field teams continue to be recognized for their success in the classroom. Both the men's and women's team were honored as USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Teams.

The men's team was one of 67 Division I programs to receive the award with a cumulative GPA of 3.125 while 130 women's teams were recognized with K-State earning a 3.328 GPA. To be eligible for the award a team must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Both K-State programs ranked second in the Big 12 Conference in GPA, the men's team being edged by Iowa State and the women by Nebraska.
The men's GPA ranked 30th overall out of the 67 teams receiving the award, and the women's squad ranked 38th in the nation.
