Torres has quality first start

Former Kansas State pitcher Carlos Torres made his first career professional start for the Chicago White Sox Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays in Chicago.

Torres went six innings and gave up three runs on six hits and three walks, while striking out three batters. He also allowed two home runs. The White Sox 4-3, but it was a no decision quality start for Torres.
