Indians win against Blue Jays
The Manhattan Indians ended a two-game losing streak to Junction City on Friday, topping the Blue Jays 9-7 with a last second pass play to claim the Silver Trophy.
MHS scored on a 31-yard pass play from Ryan Wilkinson to Cale Miller as time expired to take the lead. The Indians held a 3-0 lead at halftime and through the fourth quarter until the Blue Jays took a 7-3 lead in the fourth quarter.
The Indians will host a first round Class 6A state playoff game next Friday at Bishop Stadium.
